Apple phones prices slashed; Prices have been reduced for these models

Prices of iPhone models in India have been reduced following the reduction in import duty. The prices of Apple’s most popular models, the iPhone 15 and iPhone 14, have been reduced slightly.

Now you can buy these models at a discount of Rs 300 to Rs 6,000. Apple also announced the price cut after the basic customs duty on smartphones was reduced from 20 percent to 15 percent in Budget 2024.

NOC of petrol pumps should be checked; Suresh Gopi

Pathanamthitta: Union Petroleum Minister and BJP leader Suresh Gopi wants to check the NOC of petrol  pumps. He was talking to the media after visiting the house of ADM Naveen Babu who committed suicide.
Suresh Gopi said that the NOC of petrol pumps for at least the last 25 years will have to be checked. Complaints regarding receipt of NOC for petrol pumps will also be looked into. The Minister clarified that the responsible officials of the Ministry of Petroleum are handing over the information to him and the court should take the final decision on the matter.

The water level rises; Yellow alert declared in Achankovil river

A yellow alert was issued in the Achankovil river as the water level rose. Residents living along the Achankovil river should be cautious as the water level has exceeded the warning limit at Kalleli and Konni GD stations of the State Irrigation Department’s Pathanamthitta district.

It is advised not to enter or cross rivers under any circumstances. People living near the coast have been warned to be careful and prepare to stay away from flood-prone areas as per the instructions of the authorities.
